Eligible Pensioner/DVA Concession Card holders and Centrelink payment recipients, including Jobseeker, Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy, are eligible to apply for a $250 Power Saving Bonus.

Eligibility requirements:

You must be a Victorian residential energy consumer (i.e. have a residential electricity account)

  1. You must be receiving payments under one of the following concession programs:

  2. Centrelink Pensioner Concession

    1. JobSeeker, Youth Allowance, Austudy or Abstudy

    2. Department of Veterans Affairs Pensioner Concession

    3. Or hold a Department of Veterans Affairs Gold Card

Before you start:

To submit an application, you will need to have the following documents ready:

  • An Original PDF or hard-copy version of your household electricity bill from your retailer

  • Your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) or DVA card number. You can find this on your concession card or in your MyGov account.
